Wuling Power Corporation Ltd. (Wuling) was founded in 1995 and is based in Changsha, the capital of Hunan, China. It is a subsidiary of the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) and a comprehensive energy enterprise that owns many hydro, thermal, wind, and solar power plants.
Wuling is one of the earliest river basin development companies in China. It is the largest hydropower generation company and a well-known energy service provider in Hunan.
By the end of March 2019, Wuling had 53 power plants, and 2,414 employees, with total assets of more than USD 6 billion. Its total installed capacity is of 7,529 MW, for which clean energy accounts more than 84%. It has an annual power output of over 20 TWh and an annual revenue of nearly USD 1 billion.
